Evening Solar Panel Installer
This five day course will enable the adult student to:

Identify photovoltaic applications and advantages

Verify system components and their function

Identify safe hazards associated with PV installation

Trace the basic electrical circuit and perform calculations

List PV system sizing considerations

Descrive the tasks required to complete a site analysis

Identify PV electrical and mechanical system design considerations

Identify the effects of the environment on panel output
-
Describe how to install a system grid connected PV system
-
Explain how to assess system operation and efficiency
-
Recognize the tasks required when performing PV maintenance and troubleshooting
-
Identify appropriate codes and standards for installation, operation and maintenance of PV systems
-
Identify required applications and approvals required by local, state, public utility, and other agencies
Tuition: $290.00 - Payable by Money Order Only
Registration is daily 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

A $50.00 late fee will be charged after each registratoin deadline for all evening courses.
Tuition refunds for evening courses will only be given prior to the start of the course. Once the course has started, no refunds will be issued. |
